Learn the symptoms of the gallbladder disease to avoid complications

since the number of people that are diagnosed with the gallbladder disease is alarmingly increasing, and gallbladder surgery is one of the most performed surgeries in the United States, it is important that you understand this illness and its symptoms so that you can discover it as soon as possible and avoid surgery if you can.

The gallbladder is a small organ that can be found between the liver and the duodenum, that is connected to the liver in its upper part and to the stomach in its lower part. The liver produces the bile, a substance needed whenever you eat fat foods, because fat can't be digested through the normal procedure because it does not dissolve in water. Therefore, the liver makes the bile and then it stores it in the gallbladder for whenever it's needed. When you eat fat food the gallbladder starts pouring the bile needed for the food's digestion. Due to the ingredients of the bile, sometimes small stones can form in it and these stones can cause problems that can only be fixed through surgery in some cases, or they may cause gallbladder attacks in more extreme situations.
If you learn the symptoms of the gallbladder disease well, and those of a gallbladder attack too, you will be able to detect both of them early and call for a doctor. If you discover the illness as early as possible the treatment will be easier and perhaps you will be able to avoid surgery.

You may be experiencing gallbladder symptoms for years and you don't realize it until its too late. The first sign that it shows is constipation. But the first symptoms that appear don't necessarily indicate that you have the gallbladder disease. These symptoms are very common in many problems, so the best thing to do is visit a doctor and listen to his advice.

After the constipation, the gallbladder starts to hurt, making you feel pain in the liver area. Then as the disease advances you may experience dizziness, indigestions after consistent meals, gas, and dark-colored stools. If you eat too much fat and the ill gallbladder can't provide enough bile to digest it all than you will have diarrhea. Also, if a gallstone is obstructing the bile duct you will have yellow-ish eyes.

If the gallstones leave the bile and start to obstruct the duct or reach the duodenum, then a gallbladder attack will occur. Gallbladder attacks need to be immediately treated by a doctor. These are the most common symptoms of gallbladder attacks:
-vomiting
-pain in the right side, near the liver. This pain radiates in the whole body, especially to the right shoulder.
-a lot of gas
-severe pain occurs at night or after a very fatty meal

These are the most encountered symptoms of the gallbladder disease or of gallbladder attacks. If you are experiencing any of them, do not hesitate to consult a doctor in short time. If not, try to remember them, because they may save you or a family member from a bad condition.
