The hostel environment should be judged and then you can come to the conclusion that the hostel is a safe place for your kid's admission.

Well the risk always remains. Even at home's well-disciplined environment your child can get spoiled. But you must take precautions as much as possible. But you can't stop your child's studies from a good institute.

In spite of all these if your child becomes a drug addict in the hostel setup please immediately take him/her to a rehab center for the right type of treatment. At the initial stage the possibility of getting completely well in a short frame of time is more.
